Role Playing Games

ROLE PLAYING GAMES

I have a passion for role-playing games, and over the years I have created multiple systems. All of these projects have been play-tested and iterated upon.

Space!

Space!

A streamlined Sci-Fi RPG designed to have simple-yet-deep mechanics and pliable enough to be used in many different sci-fi settings. It uses a 4d6 system and focuses on character roleplaying over hard numbers.

Warbands

Warbands

A tabletop RPG I have been developing for the past 5 years. It is playtested frequently and I hope to publish it at some point in the distant future. Its inspired by my love of 3.5 and 5th ed, but defines itself as being a classless system for deep character customization.

Dept. of Fish, Wildlife & Monsters

Dept. of Fish, Wildlife & Monsters

A small tabletop RPG designed as a teaching tool to practice characterization, improvisation and tension techniques to students. You play as an agent on a shoe-string budget and subdue a monster with the least collateral as possible.

Critical Hit Improv Games

Critical Hit Improv Games

65+ Improv Games condensed into a single text. Created for when I lead DigiPen's improv group: Critical Hit.

Fallout Pen and Paper (PnP)

Fallout Pen and Paper (PnP)

A fan-made and open source RPG system for the Fallout universe I made 6 years ago just to play with friends. It saw a BEHEMOTH spike of popularity around the release of Fallout 4 and it turned into a much more popular game then I intended. Because it is open source, someone else has taken over the project after I was inactive for a few months and the game no longer resembles what it once did. This was a non profit fan-made game and Fallout and related logos are trademarks or registered trademarks of Bethesda Softworks LLC in the U.S. and/or other countries. All Rights Reserved.

Board Games

BOARD & CARD GAMES

Analog games I have created over the years.

The Name Tag Game

The Name Tag Game

A camp-wide game that would promote students interacting with staff and each other, as well as reinforcing a “summer camp” feel. It became wildly popular and we had 250+ students playing at its peak. Everything from design, art, materials, playtesting and rollout was done by myself.

Thirst

Thirst

A survival game where a group of survivors must navigate an cave full of subterranean cannibal hillbillies to retrieve water. This involved randomly generated maps and characters.

Road Rage

Road Rage

A post-apocalyptic vehicular combat game.

The Ultimate Neckbeard

The Ultimate Neckbeard

A party game where rules are gradually added and the goal is to be the last "neckbeard" with chips left.

Hadron Clash

Hadron Clash

A game about building a hadron collider while embezzling as much money as possible
